"A
Wolfs last prayer"
I asked the moon to give me hope, the strength just a little bite
more. I'm afraid and tired of running. But I have to carry on,
have to protect my little ones. The humans came by, screaming
a wolf, a wolf. Then I heard a shot and felt a tremendous pain
close to my heart. My tears are falling because I Know I'm going
to die. Who's gonna protect my little ones now? All this pain,
tell me why, why do they hate us so? We wish them no harm. But
still they are hunting us down. Why can't we live in peace with
each other, Mother Nature made enough room for us all. We are
running for our life's but soon there wont be any place to hide.
I know they wont stop until they get us all. They are getting
closer, soon I will be found. I must hide my babies before it's
to late. But I'm so tired, I try to move, so much blood. I hear
all this noise, where are my babies? It's so dark, I feel nothing
anymore...

"Running Away"
The two-legs killed my mother, my brother and sister too,
and now I'm on the run, I don't know what to do.
Running through the river, and weaving through the trees.
I feel a sharp pain, and fall to my knees. The two-legs has got
me.
I'll be with my family soon. Now the two-legs is over me,
as I get one last look at the moon.
"Thanks Greywolf for letting me use this poem on my site"
Those who seek to understand, know that they are
not cruel.
They kill only what they need, living by Mother Nature's rule.
So when you hear the Wolf's howl, listen to it to the full,
Feel it's primeval beauty, Way deep down in your soul!

"Oh Great Spirit"
Protect the one with the haunting golden eyes,
for the eyes of the wolf have almost vanished from Mother Earth.
I pray the hunter's aim is poor and that his arrow and bullet
miss.
I pray the poison given to him will only serve to strengthen him.
I pray that he will know there are ones who cares for him.
I pray that he will live to look in the eyes of my children's
children
so they will know the depth of his wisdom and pride.
I pray his howls will be heard until Mother Earth exists no more.
For no other sound can take it's place.
May we all learn from the wolf the respect showing for each other
and that we are a family of one. the wolf is quiet, and may we
be,
to learn the secrets of his world. His spirits are great and the
world
will surely know when he is gone forever more.
"Poem by: Sandy Polson"
I run alone
Searching for something pulling my sole.
The night is young
The sky is bright with the full moon.
I let a howl,
The echoes fill my side
Then stagger and fall.
I know this is where I shall die,
Did I fulfill my life's plan?
I do not know
and I will never know.

"What a wolf is"
I run through a paradise
White as snow
I might be dressed in a grey suit
But what is a grey suit
When the spirit always going to be
The spirit of the lonely wolf
I have spoken with the eagle
I have been crying over the dog
But I have never wasted any time to live
Because life is just to short
A hunter will always be hunted
Why wouldn't they
They just don't understand
And I never expected them to do
So it's not so hard to forgive
It's so much harder to live
What is a paradise
When you are so lonely
But the lonesome night
Has become my own paradise
And if your spirit is free
You can share this paradise with me

~Weed By Creek~
I HEAR, I TOUCH, I FEEL
THE GENTLE CARESS OF WATER FLOWING;
I STAND STRONG, YET I BEND GENTLY
TO THE CALL OF THE WIND
I TAKE MY REST WITH MOONBEAMS
AS I GLISTEN UNDER THE NIGHT SKY,
THE MORNING AGLOW WITH
THE WARMTH OF FATHER SUN,
GIVES ME STRENGTH
FOR EACH NEW LESSON I MUST LEARN..
AS I GO ON MY JOURNEY
FROM THE TRICKLING CREEK
TO THE FLOW OF THE RIVER.

"To Walk Alone"
To walk alone is to stand alone,
One wolf walks alone into the night,
For the lone wolf stands with pride,
For all he has achieved in his life,
Because no one stands in his way or by his side.

May the great Spirit grant you the strength
of Eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly
to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on
His Spirit to carry you there.....

"Big bad wolf"
A beautiful fur on a wild animal,
black, grey, white and more.
A howling at the moon, a desperate
call for help.
The wolf is big and strong...
he's the Alfa leader...
He looks at his mistress,
the beautiful grey one.
His anger for the people that
follows his pack,
killing them slowly,
one by one.
the human being can't longer
live side by side with his blood.
The escape from the chase,
a chase to be free.
Drives him crazy, no break, no
honest chance...
The wolf looks tired...
Tired to run...
Run from his forest to another land.
Why? It's a big question...
Why can't we live together?
Like the Indians and wolf do?
The white man's fear for the big bad wolf...
Is it a fairytale or is it the reality?
Nobody knows...
The chase goes on...After the big bad wolf.
Tired he looks at the moon...
My beautiful howling wolf.

"Survival the fittest"
Big paw with sharp claws.
White teeth in the night.
Black nose and a silky fur.
A perfect beast, mankinds nightmare.
Slowly moves through the night.
For the big chase!
The deer wasnt easy
But lunch for the pack.
Gracious they kill it.
And blood will float.
It happens so fast
This natural death
The big wolf and his pack,
No more hunger this night.
What seem like horror for me and you
Is the realistic life for the wolf.
Survival the fittest!
Or you will not get old
Not hungry, they play
With the puppies..
At the big bad wolfs pack
Puppies that grow and learn
The hard way to survive.
Should the mankind really understand?
And not pull the trigger back
What seem awful for mankind..
Its only the wolfs living day
